Billie Joe Armstrong, born February 17, 1972 is an American rock musician and occasional actor, best known as the lead vocalist, main songwriter and lead guitarist for the American punk rock band Green Day. He is also a guitarist and vocalist for the punk rock band Pinhead Gunpowder and provides lead vocals for garage rock band Foxboro Hot Tubs when not working with Green Day. Armstrong has also pursued musical projects outside of Green Day's work, including numerous collaborations with other musicians as well as serving as the primary vocalist for the bands Pinhead Gunpowder and Foxboro Hot Tubs.

Rock Music
Rock music is a genre of popular music that developed during and after the 1960s, particularly in the United Kingdom and the United States. It has its roots in 1940s and 1950s rock and roll, itself heavily influenced by rhythm and blues and country music. Rock music also drew strongly on a number of other genres such as blues and folk, and incorporated influences from jazz, classical and other musical sources.
John Frusciante
John Anthony Frusciante, born March 5, 1970, is an American guitarist, singer, songwriter, record producer and film producer of Italian descent. He is best known as the former guitarist of the rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers, with whom he recorded five studio albums. John Frusciante has an active solo career, having released ten albums under his own name, as well as two with Josh Klinghoffer and Joe Lally as Ataxia. His solo recordings include elements ranging from experimental rock and ambient music to New Wave and electronica. Influenced by guitarists of various genres, Frusciante emphasizes melody and emotion in his guitar playing, and favors vintage guitars and analog recording techniques.
Trey Anastasio
Trey Anastasio, born Ernest Joseph Giuseppe Anastasio III on September 30, 1964, is an American guitarist, composer, and vocalist most noted for his work with the rock band Phish. He is credited by name as composer of 152 Phish original songs, 140 of them as a solo credit, in addition to 41 credits attributed to the band as a whole. He was ranked as number 73 on the Rolling Stone List of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time in 2003.
Damon Albarn
Damon Albarn, born 23 March 1968 is an English singer-songwriter and record producer who has been involved in many high profile projects and collaborations throughout his career. He is perhaps best known internationally for his current role as the lead vocalist and songwriter of Gorillaz, whose first two studio albums had sold more than 20 million copies combined by 2007. He came to prominence, particularly in the United Kingdom, as the frontman and primary songwriter of Britpop band Blur, and has also helmed projects such as The Good, the Bad & the Queen, Monkey: Journey to the West and Mali Music. Albarn has released multiple singles and albums which have charted at #1, both in the UK and internationally.
